I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia specializing in supporting older adults with issues related to aging- relationships, sense of purpose, grief, retirement, caregiving, and dementia. I provide compassionate, evidence-based care to help clients navigate life transitions and promote emotional well-being. In addition to counseling, I offer dementia consultation services for individuals, families, caregivers, and organizations. I also serve as a clinical supervisor for associate clinicians pursuing a LPC.
Counseling

As we age, there are unique changes and life events we experience. These transitions include retirement, changes with our bodies, caregiving, loss of loved ones, and relationships. These changes can feel both ordinary and deeply personal. They may bring practical questions, emotional weight, and a need for support that honors the whole person.
With retirement questions about our sense of purpose emerge. When caring for a loved one whether an aging parent or walking through the journey of dementia, being good enough, guilt, and relief are common emotions. These are also similar feelings a person with dementia experiences. Introspection, sadness, and meaning coincide with grief and loss.

Dementia Consultation Services

Navigating dementia can feel overwhelming, and you don't have to do it alone. I provide compassionate, personalized dementia consultations to help individuals, families, caregivers, and organizations better understand the challenges of dementia and feel more confident moving forward. Consultations may include education about dementia and cognitive changes, individualized recommendations, practical feedback, and connections to helpful community resources and support services. After each consultation, I provide a follow-up email with a written summary of our discussion, recommendations, resources, and suggested next steps, so you have a clear plan and information to refer back to as you navigate your journey.

Clinical Supervision
60-minute Session

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certified as a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor by the LPCA of Georgia to mentor, train, and clinically supervise graduate counseling students or associate-level counselors (like APCs) who are working toward full licensure. I am a passionate and a dedicated gatekeeper to the counseling profession focusing on ethical practice, building clinical skills, and administrative effectiveness. My approach focuses meeting you where you are at- at different times you may need a teacher, counselor, consultant. I am here to help you develop your professional identity, bringing about self-awareness and personal growth, navigate client cases, and the administrative side of being a therapist.
